Our Story
The Sustainable Life for Women and Children Foundation (SLIWAC) is a Nigerian non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, and vulnerable communities through sustainable development initiatives.
SLIWAC was established in response to the persistent social and economic challenges facing women and children, including limited access to quality education, healthcare, economic opportunities, protection services, and sustainable livelihoods. We believe that empowered women and protected children are the foundation of resilient families and thriving communities.
Working closely with communities, government institutions, civil society organizations, and development partners, SLIWAC designs and implements practical, community-driven solutions that address local needs while creating lasting social impact. Our interventions are guided by the principles of inclusion, accountability, innovation, and sustainability, ensuring that every programme contributes to long-term development rather than short-term relief.
Today, SLIWAC continues to build partnerships and strengthen local capacities to create opportunities that enable women, children, and communities to reach their full potential.
